In the underbelly of New York City, an unfamiliar reality exists right next to daily routines—a disturbing and dangerous sphere where colorful strangers with exotic stories share their adventures. In this parallel world, nothing can be taken for granted, daily survival is a challenge, and life becomes a brutal boot camp. Here, young, (mostly) transgender, homeless runaways continuously chase a big break that is supposedly waiting around the corner.
