Hey Guys! - I wanted to send notice out that DF182 Documentary Filmmaking is now available for SP12 quarter! The class is being taught on Wednesday Evenings from 6-10pm. If you would like to sign up for the class or change your schedule, let me or an adviser know. Make sure you've taken DF124 Pre-Production before you sign up for the class. - Eve.

AINYC and the Honey Bee Conservancy

The department is teaming up with non - profit organizations in order to bring the professional experience to the classroom. This past quarter students from Jason Moore and Susi Graf's classes worked with the Honey Bee Conservancy and the NY Pops. Guillermo Fernandez, director of the Honey Bee Conservancy, recently got in touch with me to show how the classwork of the students was used in the real world. Updates!

Hey Everyone!
As you may have noticed, I haven't been posting as frequently these past two weeks. That's because we are doing so many great things in the department. Classes are involved with the NY Pops and the Honey Bee Conservancy. We had the Arri workshop last Thursday. A group of students were working with the Tribeca Film Festival, which just wrapped this past weekend. Two new film opportunities have been posted in the Film Festivals and Competitions section: MoFilm and Latin Mixx Festival. (Thanks to Jen and Oswaldo for those!)
Keep checking for updates. In the mean time, please check out the two posts below. There are two great film screenings happening; one on Thursday and another over four days, beginning tonight.
